TOPOGRAPHY OF IDENTITY

This is the early stage of a long-term project and photographic approach center on the exploration of identity—of the world, its places, cultures, and peoples. Titled Topography of Identity the work seeks to reveal how landscapes, traditions, and human presence converge to create a sense of belonging and meaning, capturing both the small gestures of daily life and the enduring impacts of history and habits.

Through an emphasis on detail and atmosphere, the images aim to uncover not only the visible essence of a place but also the intangible spirit that defines it: the textures of memory, the rhythms of community, and the resilience of cultural heritage. Here, photography becomes both documentation and interpretation, preserving identities while prompting reflection on their place within a shared global narrative.

The project is never going to be concluded, however it intends to continue to uncover invisible layers and shine a light on lesser visible aspects of what’s around us for as long as I can, to the infinity of natural and human-made possibilities.
