Antonio was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1988, studied design in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and branding in London, United Kingdom. His academic background has allowed him to approach photography with an emphasis on composition, and while self-taught, his drive to the exploration of places, its peoples and traditions has fueled his journey in photography.

His work encompasses cultural, portrait, documentary and travel photography with particular focus on details that embody the identity of the subjects. Antonio’s photographic output is a mission to transform the misunderstood into beauty, revealing its truth, and preserving its unique intrinsic traits.
